Interactive media is when your actions make a sound happen. For example on a dvd menu you select something like chapter and because of the choice a sound happens for example a theme music starts or another sort of sound.

Non-interactive media is a sound or music is what you don't control for example the theme music on a dvd menu.

In Mrs paradise- in that lesson we went to 2/3 websites we could not go to one because of parental control that was very disappointed but we had to carry on with lesson. The websites we went had a lot of interactive sounds init and we had to see how it is affective. Without the interactive sounds the websites would have been very boring an dull.

The following types of media are interactive, websites, DVD interfaces, interactive presentations, computer games, mobile phone content. Websites are interactive because you control your experience and choose what todo. In a computer game interactive things are you could choose your player, choose what to play etc. Mobile phones are interactive because you could choose what to do for example going to the messages or the gallery etc.

Sound is used in interactive media for a number of things for example, carrying dialogue, enhancing mood or one, indicators showing danger or impending action, emotion, guiding users, alerts and entertainment e.g. streaming music etc.
